İzmir is a coastal Mediterranean city with numerous attractive features. İzmir Institute of Technology is located in Urla, which is at the center of three well-known summer vacation sites: Çeşme, Karaburun, and Seferihisar. İzmir also hosts many ancient city ruins such as Ephesus and Pergamon.

Accommodation

RoManSy 2026 participants will be able to stay at IzTech Living Center (https://www.iyteyasammerkezi.com/) located on the university campus with a reduced cost. The room rates per night are as follows:
 
Single room: 2600 TL/day (approximately 50 Euro)

Double room: 1800 TL/day (approximately 35 Euro) per person 

 
All our rooms have a bathroom, a kitchenette, 24-hour hot water, AC, TV and Wi-Fi.

There are restaurants, a cafe and a convenience store next to the life center.
